At ICON since the beginning, Christina teaches Hip Hop & Jazz, as well as assisting GEO. Born in Bogota, Columbia and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Christina has been dancing for 22 years and plans to dance for 100 more. Growing up doing competitions and teaching since she was 16, Christina wanted to make her passion for dance a career. In 2005 she graduated St. Francis College in NYC with a B.A. degree in Speech and Theatre.

Jeff was a shy kid from queens who through dance became a much sought after brooklyn dance teacher. Jeff started with his eyes set on a career in engineering but God had other plans. With training from some of the industries top teachers jeff soon booked videos, commercial work and has danced for a few artist including a performance at HOT 97's summerjam and the Superbowl. Now working wit two up and coming artist Jeff simply believes, THE MORE YOU BRING TO THE TABLE THE BETTER YOUR CRAFT WILL BE, this is why he's continues to still take class.

Lauren Hubela began dancing in New Jersey and continued her training with the American Repertory Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.F.A. in Dance, while having the opportunity to work with acclaimed choreographers, such as Donald Byrd, Milton Myers, and Desmond Richardson. Miss Hubela has also performed in Italy and Prauge with the American Dance Company. For the past eight years, she has taught at Westchester Dance Academy where numerous of her students have been awarded regional and national titles.

Christian was born in 1984, and started to become interested in dancing when he was 13 years old. He started breaking in high school and met others with the same talent. This lead to the start of his dancing career. In 2002, Christian started to teach at local dance studios in New Jersey. He has also competed all over the U.S. and has appeared on television shows as music videos.
My inspiration to teach comes from family, friends & God. My talent has made me lucky to be able to pass down a dance that I have learned from positive influences.
I teach at Icon because... I love dancing so much that it makes it easy to come into a place like Icon to work and be able to teach such young talented dancers.

Paul Lampa - better known as the one and only "Slinky" - has been a highly energetic hip-hop instructor and dancer for over 12 years, and is known for his very thorough, clear, and charismatic teaching style, groovy and hard-hitting choreography, and most of all his sheer love for Life!
He began intensely studying all music videos, starting with the early 90's New Jack Swing era, Club MTV, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, and Usher. To increase his skills, the Slinkman trained in ballet, jazz, and ballroom, as well. He became a member of Culture Shock Atlanta, and then learned more under Chuck Maldonado and Suave of HipHop ConnXion Chicago. He's honed his methods of teaching for many years, has taught for dozens dance companies in metro Atlanta, has done numerous promotional gigs, directed his own troupe HipHop ConnXion Atlanta, and even danced for artists such as Ludacris and P.Diddy.
Slinkadelic has been a standout member of the ICON Dance Complex family since Grand Opening Day back in May 2006, has worked extremely hard under the tutelage of the incomparable Geo Hubela, and has taught many classes under his request for both the kids and adults.
The Zumba Revolution:
Zumba Fitness is a tremendous and worldly dance culture in itself because it encapsulates all different international styles of dance, such as Salsa, ChaCha, Cumbia, Samba, African, West Indian, etc., and is geared towards making a cardio workout a fantastically energetic, hard-sweating, easy-to-follow, and immensely fun dance experience.
Back in February 2011, Slinks stumbled across a Zumba Fitness class taught by the amazing Alexis Roe in Freehold and instantly became addicted! He became officially licensed as a Zumba instructor in March under the famous Tanya Beardsley and has been creating a HUGE following from the Jersey Shore to Staten Island ever since.

Donielle EJ Janora began as a performer in her playpen at the age of 2, ending each performance with a somersault dismount exit! After earning her B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University at Buffalo and studying in Chicago, New York, L.A. and Toronto, Donielle joined the national touring company of Footloose as a dance swing and ensemble member for two years.
Upon moving to New York City, Donielle began booking jobs as a dancer for film, TV and stage productions. Her varied credits include My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Law and Order, The Chappelle Show, PBS 4th of July Special (tapping with Jason Alexander), Norwegian Cruise Line, regional productions of Grease Pippin, a national tour of The Will Rogers Follies, and as a back-up dancer for recording artist Fredrick Ford. In addition to performing with several independent modern companies in NYC, she is also a company member of the Jeff Shade Dance Project and is on the faculty at STEPS in New York City. Donielle has been with DanzEmergencee LLC since the beginning as the Co-Director of the Dance Department.
Most recently she performed at the opening ceremonies of the Middle Eastern International Film Festival in Abu Dhabi. Donielle also played Leona Helmsley in NYMF's Wild About Harry and was a featured dancer in Jeff Shade's "The Playground". This Spring she danced in the honor of the 22 National Broadway touring productions at the Minskoff Theatre for the Easter Bonnet.
Donielle continues to share her passion for dance, recognizing that the foundation of “the dance studio” is as much about teaching life skills as it is dance technique.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in NJ, Joanna has been dancing for 20 years. She trained in all styles of dance and danced competitively since she was 6. Joanna was selected to be in the Fine and Performing Arts Center(FPAC) program at Howell High School, where she received the "Outstanding Growth in Dance" award and was also the captain of her high school's dance team. After graduating in 2007, she went on to Towson University, where she was a member of the now 13x National Champion, Towson University Dance Team. She has also performed at numerous events and venues over the years, including Disney's Magic Kingdom and Manahattan's Carnegie Hall. During the past year at ICON, she was selected to be a part of the Old Navy Dance Crew and performed in Beatstock with some of the ICON dancers. She has a passion for dance, and even more for teaching. Joanna hopes to inspire kids to achieve their goals and make a difference in their lives. She is more than thrilled to be able to do this at ICON and honored to continue learning as a part of such an ICONic family!

Casey Hill, originally from Buffalo, New York, received her early dance training from Maris Battaglia at The American Academy of Ballet. She attended the Vir- ginia School of the Arts and trained under scholarship at BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. Casey holds a BFA in Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory. There she was a member of The Boston Conservatory Dance Theatre and per- formed many original works by major choreographers, as well as as pieces from both the classical ballet and modern dance repertoires. Casey has appeared as a guest artist with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Ballet Hispanico. In 2002 and 2003, she was selected and honored to perform original choreography by Ann Reinking and Debra McWaters at the renowned Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) in Tampa, Florida. Casey appeared as a principal dancer and vocalist in national and european tours of Fosse starring Ben Vereen and Ruthie Henshall. While on tour with Fosse, Casey was a company Master Teacher and taught the Fosse style and repertoire to students all over the United States, Canada and Europe. Casey performed the role of Cassandra in the 2006/2007 national tour of CATS, and most recently completed a successful two year run of the national tour of Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out, where she could be seen performing the lead role of Brenda.
In addition to her extensive performing experience, Casey has developed a great love and unique style of teaching. Her ballet classes emphasize a strong basis in proper technique in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Her theatre dance classes focus on the exciting and challenging Fosse style, and she encourages students to let their own unique personalities shine through. Casey has been a guest choreographer at Plumb Performing Arts Center in Scottsdale, Arizona and at Spezio’s Dance Dynamics in Buffalo, New York. Casey is also honored to be a master class teacher and judge for Dance Educators of America.

Christopher-Eric began his dance training at Princeton Dance Theatre under the guidance of Susan Jaffe. Shortly after he started training at Icon Dance Complex under the direction of Geo and Beth Hubela. Christopher also attended Howell High for the performing arts and graduated in 2008. After graduation he was accepted to University of the Arts as a dance major. His first year at the university he joined Eleone Connection. The summer of 2009 he received a full scholarship to The Rock School in Philadelphia. While in his second year of school he joined the company Smoke, Lilies, and Jade Arts Initiative. Christopher has worked with numerous well-known choreographers from all over. In 2010, Christopher was part of an exclusive surprise performance for Kenny Ortega at the Astaire Awards within the highly regarded “Newsies” routine with ICONic. He is excited to be back working with his ICON FAMILY!

One of ICON’s original dancers, Angelica has been training with GEO for four years. She is now GEO’s assistant and teaches classes of her own-having been a dancer in all forms of dance since the age of seven. Having the ability to flourish as a dancer, ICON has given Angelica the opportunity to dance in the Fred Astaire Awards for Kenny Ortega, Beatstock performances, The Big Apple Awards, MTV, Music Videos, T.V. Promotions, dancing backup for Kelly Rowland and other artists. Angelica is very proud to be part of the ICONic Dance Crew and Company in aspiration to be a role model and inspiration for all upcoming dancers. Angelica’s dancing career is just taking off and she is very excited to see what the future hold for her as she studies at ICON in preparation to become the best dancer she can be. She feels honored to be a part of the ICON family and is very excited for the new memories to come.
