Is this a dancing school?
Yes, we are a state of the art dance facility designed to fulfill a dancer’s hopes and dreams.
 
Do I have to register for the whole season?
Yes, upon acceptance of registration students are enrolled and financially responsible for the entire 9 month session from September to the end of May. 
 
What do I wear for class?

The 2010/2011 Required ICON Dress Code and required shoe list is attached here. Please refer to this important document to dress your child for class.

Can I do a trial class?
We do not have trial classes but we recommend new students come into the studio and watch classes from the television screens in the lobby or through the viewing windows.
 
Do I have to do the recital?
Yes we expect all dancers to participate in the recital unless there is specific reason a dancer cannot. Please notify ICON upon registering if dancer cannot participate.
 
Are Geo and Beth married?
Ewww Gross! No they are brother and sister.
 
Are the teachers qualified?
All of our teachers are extremely qualified in their field of dance. 
 
How much are open classes?
1 hour open class session is $12.00. 1 ½ hour open class session is $15.00.
 
Do unlimited dancers have to pay for open classes?
Yes, all dancers are required to sign up and pay for class at the front desk.
 
What is the process of being/getting into company?
Once GEO and Beth feel a dancer has reached a certain level of talent and commitment, they will be invited into the ICON/ICONic dance companies. Please visit our Company page for further information.
 
Do you offer private lessons and how much are they?
Yes, please see the front desk to set this up. Privates vary on the teacher and room availability. Privates are $30 per half hour.
 
What is a Recital Fee?
It is a $25 fee per family used to cover the expenses such as rehearsal fees and technical fees that we incur to hold a professionally run recital.
