All dancers that appear in an ICON dance company are asked by invitation only. Our idea of company means “commitment” not competition. ICON companies are for students who are dedicated and want to perform “in addition to” the recital and will have several opportunities to travel across the U.S. and abroad due to our connections.

Prospective company members are to have impeccable attendance and commitment to rehearsals. Once they reach an advanced level in technique and choreography, they are at a place where they may be asked to join.

All ICON companies are based on high-level technique and musicality.

All ICONic companies are created with a hip hop/street dance mantra.

ICON produces the best possible dancers and choreography for community and worldwide performances, benefits and events. Once a student commits to being in a company, they must take on the responsibility of extra rehearsals and fees that come along with it.

COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

A signed contract committing the dancers to rehearsals, traveling and additional fees is the first step. Participation in specific classes including technique is required, along with rehearsals and a limited umber of regional and national event attendance.
