ICON won the top Studio Award for the Junior Division

Julian DeGuzman, our ICON of the Year, won Jr. Mr. Dance of the United States

Mikayla Sotille was the 2nd runner up for International Princess of the United States

GEO Hubela won a choreography award for "Step in Time" for his Jr. Dancers

Danielle Galipo made one of the top 12 finalists of Miss Dance of the United States

Kirsten Trinidad:  Rachel Bascietto Memorial Award, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Alexis Hargrave: The Capezio Dance Scholarship Award in honor of her Dedication to ICON, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Tristan Rubiano:  Billy Elliot Scholarship Award in honor of his passion for Dance, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Hope Granucci: Nadias Salon Scholarship Award in honor of her strength & determination, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Danielle Guzzo:  Gina Starbuck Scholarship Award in honor of being a great leader & role-model, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Lilyana Cornell: Youth Arts Forum Scholarship Award in honor of her natural talent to be a future ICON, ICON 5th Anniversary End of Year Performance

Chris Smith (our Contemporary teacher) won Choreography award for his Sr. Company piece "Ofortuna" at USTD Regionals.

Karla Garcia (Guest Choreographer) won Choreography award for her Jr. Company piece "Sinking Feeling" at USTD Regionals.

Kirsten Trinidad won 1st runner up in the Teen Miss Dance competition at USTD Regionals.

Danielle Galipo won and was crowned MIss Dance of Pennsylvania at USTD Regionals.

Tristan Rubiano took home a scholarship to the Monsters Tour Finale in Orlando, Florida.

Alex Rubiano rocked it out at Monsters of Hip Hop, New Brunswick and won 3rd place ($40) for the clubstyle-freestyle battle. He also took home a scholarship from the Monsters Tour Finale in Orlando, Florida. While at Monsters of Hip Hop in DC, Alex took home 2nd place ($50) in the clubstyle-freestyle battle.

Joshua Price took home a $75 scholarship for USTD regionals at the USTD Knicks City Dancers event.

Way to go Julian DeGuzman who took 1st Place clubstyle-freestyle battle at Monsters of Hip Hop, New Brunswick. Julian also won 1st Place for the freestyle battle and Platinum 3rd place in his hip hop solo at NRG Atlantic City. At Monsters of Hip Hop, DC, he won 3rd place for the clubstyle-freestyle battle and a full scholarship for the Orlando Florida Finale.

Congrats to Michaela Bongiovi who won the "Top Junior Dancer Award"- a full scholarship to attend all of the 2011 Knicks City Dancers Clinic series from Knicks City Dancers Workshop Series and Nappytabs. Michaela also snagged the "Pulse on Tour Scholarship 2011-2012" from Camp Pulse on Tour, Washington, DC.

Beth Hubela was inducted to bring dance to baseball in its historic year, 2010.

Mikayla Sottile won the first Legacy award at the 2010 End of Year Performance, in honor of Horizon’s Founder.

GEO Hubela was the choreographer chosen to present a surprise performance to Kenny Ortega at the 2010 Fred and Adelle Astaire Awards. ICONic Dancers performed GEO’s version of a hip hop meets Broadway version of “Newsies”.

ICONic Dancers were requested to be a premiere performers in Times Square for Oxygen Media’s Dance Your **S Off Kick Off on June 14th.

ICONic was one of 8 performance groups to culminate the NDW NYC 2010 performance at Ailey Citigroup Theater.

ICONic Boyz won the chance to take the stage at the Apollo Theater, Spring 2010.

Katie Fasbach was named 2010-2011 ICON of the Year.

Beth’s ICONettes won the 2010 NETS Hardwood Challenge at the IZOD Center.

Zan Bongiovi, 2009-2010 ICON of the Year was included in the Discover section of the world’s first email magazine for performing arts, gendance.

ICONic Boyz performed with celebrities and comedians at Art CUE Foundation for Arts to Grow’s 2010 Gala.
